This can't be the end right? I need to know what happens. I need to see my friends through this horrific experience, I need the light at the end of the tunnel. This series is extremely well written and easily sucks it's reader into this fictional terrifying world. It offers a fast paced adventure to any reader daring.

The villains were flat, flat, flat, especially Chick. I am getting frustrated because a bunch of the good guys met completely senseless deaths, and then our little group of survivors endured an unlikely cataclysmic natural disaster that is going to force them out of the safety of their hidey hole. I'd like to see some rebuilding at lasts, instead of constant destruction and despair. And what was up with the Hobgoblin????

Another fantastic book by John L. Campbell. I absolutely love his books. There's so much depth to his characters. His character development is so good that sometimes I have a hard time continuing reading the book(s) because I don't want to know what happens. And the characters that are meant to be hated, well I can really despise them. He makes it so easy to love and hate his characters. His story lines are amazing. He's able to build a good story without taking forever to get to it.
Can't wait for the next one. At least I hope there's another one.
