It has been way too long since I visited the world of Sherrilyn Kenyon and OH HOW I MISSED IT!

Death Doesn't Bargain is the second installment to the Deadman's Cross series. This is not a stand alone and does intertwine a bit with the Dark Hunters Series.

Kalder Dupree has a mother and brothers that hate him. Leaving home he became one of the most well known mercenaries around. It also helps that he has powers that even he hasn't tapped into. Until he finds a special woman with her own special powers who loves him blindly. Kalder discovers what love and family actually means while having a glorious adventure aboard The Sea Witch.

Kenyon will never let you down when you get a adventurous cruise with this series!

I didn't really care for this book. It didn't really have anything to do with the rest of the books. I did like Acheron showing up in the end, but it didn't tie into the other books as well as most of them do. I liked Thorn even though a lot of people don't. I love how he was able to get Kalder back to the ship and back to Cameron. I hate how Vine is so determined to kill him and Cameron and destroy the captain. I will definitely read the next one and try to get into it. 4.5 stars.

Typical 2nd book in a trilogy. I liked it, but more set-up than story. Favorite part was learning more about Savitar. Kalder is pretty impressive twoo. Not quite sure what was revealed yet though. May have to re-read (or listen to) this one before the next book comes out.

She never disappoints

I have loved all of Mrs. Kenyons!!!! This one is different in a good way in that it flows differently.... Don't worry no spoilers and her ending is just as spectacular as always

3.8 stars. It wasn’t as good as the first one, but I love the relationship between Cam and Kalder! My poor Kalder’s past...
