It talks about being heartbroken. All I could think about was him, T.
“you’re the chapter in my life I should’ve skipped”
“all in the end. this was never meant to work I was holding on to nothing”
“lust under moon. I don’t think it was actually love I was just obsessed with the way you made me feel on satin sheets under the moon”

In lieu of a review, I shall leave you with a quote I feel encapsulates the book as a whole:
“Faking a smile on my face.”

This book SUCKS and I don't think the author likes women. I think he wants to sleep with women, but I don't think he likes them even a little.
Quick little poetry read, some of which I very much enjoyed, some of which were so-so.
These poems deserve 5 stars for how much they made me laugh. Wow, it's bad. So bad. Almost worth reading a few just for the lols
okay a little bit too repetitive
(this is a series review)
this series was good, but i feel like ALL of his writing is super repetitive. i dont see much change in any of his collections like usually i see progression or a different subject but this just feels like a beat horse. amanda is light she gives us motivation that it wont always be bad, you all a strong, beautiful person type of thing rupi is all about the evolution of things the growth of a person, experience to growth and sin is harsh LOVE YOURSELF EXPRESS YOURSELF YOU DONT NEED HIM BOO BOO! and im over there in the corner like *help too much im too tiny for this* i liked the whiskey words & shovel ii best tho.
“i’m the one who burns bridges just to light my path toward a better direction i’m the one who uses failed friendships and relationships as stepping stones toward my future”
edit : i think that the first book is perfect for those trying to understand why romance is so difficult tho you try so hard in every relationship - worth a read to find solace.

There were a few poems I liked, but many of them were just super repetitive. Also, many of them seemed mansplainy and I didn’t like how he kept referencing “broken women” who were abandoned by their father’s as if a strong women could only grow from coming from a broken home and single mother’s obviously couldn’t raise a well adjusted woman. There was actually a lot of stuff I didn’t like, but that’s a start.
