mansplaining problems women face is not good no matter how artistic the author thinks his poems sound
This book was recommended by a library worker in response to my request for something like Rupi Kaur's Milk and Honey and The Sun and Her Flowers. I read it in a day. It was generally mediocre but there for four poems that made the book worth it. The writing was uninteresting until those 4; interspersed throughout different sections.
First and foremost I want to start off by defending the poems in this book, many reviewers claimed that this was not "poetry", but can we clearly ever define poetry? To me, our thoughts are so poetic in and of themselves and Sin managed to translate them onto the page beautifully.
Now to my actual enjoyment of the work as a whole, I liked it. I thought it was smooth and suave. At times I felt like Sin was writing about the same thing over and over again, but hey, that's how much love will scar a man.
A fine cup of tea overall.

Absolutely loved this
I'm reading this at a time of my life that a lot of the poems redo are with me and how I'm feeling. This book was written in a time of pain and healing so it just feels even more real. I loved the messages to the reader and the promotion of self love. I will definitely be returning to this book and set of books in this series because I loved it so much.

I really tried but didn’t finish. The one star is for the dedication at the beginning, which was the only thing that read genuine.
It helped to bring me closure. I feel better about this more than I have in a long time.
I loved it, and i am a women and i reallly enjoyed it. Gonna buy Rest of the books. I oneshoted it. ✨
A kind letter to the lovelorn & the lost.
This was a very special read. I love it when poets take you on a journey, and Sin did that in this book. While it wasn't perfect, and I did find my attention lagging here and there, his view and respect for women was truly heart-warming.

Finding love is a journey of uncertainty. (This book contains profanity.)
some of this was ok, but some felt sort of weirdly fetishizing of "broken" women? idk i thought it was kind of creepy
