Crazy Rich Asians is so nice that i finished it in one day š i feel like it sucked me into their world of haute couture, expensive ass cars and hobbies, and obsession with lineage and last names but if such ridiculous and vicious people exist, then wow man WTF???? Lol cant wait to see the movie!!!
This wasn't at all what I was expecting. I thought the writing was okay, but otherwise found the story dragging and a little ridiculous. Ended up skimming the last third of the book, and don't really plan on reading the rest of the books in this series. Might give the movie a shot, but haven't gone out of my way to watch it.
I tend to stay far away from chick-lits, and so I donāt know why I picked up this book, let alone love it! I mean yes, it was as trashy as I expected it to be, but I couldnāt put it down. It was so bad that it was GREAT! BRAVO CRAZY RICH ASIANS!

As a fan of the Crazy Rich Asian movie, I wanted to know more about the details behind the story, so I picked up book 1 of the trilogy. Safe to say Iām hooked! I genuinely enjoyed Kevin Kwanās writing style and storytelling. He does an excellent job of painting a scene and letting us into the lives/minds of the different characters. It was a highly entertaining read that focused on the development of the characters in an easy to follow manner. Itās been a long time since Iāve stayed up way past my bedtime to finish a book and this one had me reading way past midnight! Iām really excited to pick up the second book!
