i was sucked in right from the introduction, and if i had the time i would have read it all in one sitting. there were a couple things i didn't like, but overall, enjoyable!

read this very fast was hard to put down bc I just wanted to know what happened but the characters had to much random lore. the main character would have memories to give side characters more background but some felt way overdone while others lacked like any at all. Like the story of her ear getting burned off by her own mom was just casually explained then we all moved on at the end. Also, picking digoxin for overdosing was an interesting choice. Overall couldnt put it down but I did find myself skimming to get through some filler.

coming of age vibes which sometimes made me want to scream at the protagonist’s naïveté. a lil wordy at times but really creepy and intriguing. loved the back and forth between perspectives.

While this book had some good plot twists they came later in the book. It was a good thriller that’s for sure. I give it an official score of 3.8. I had it figured out about a quarter of the way through it so while I enjoyed it I just like to be kept on my toes every chapter.
