Such a good story. Would have been 5☆ but the mystery was kind of predictable.

Very easy and quick read. The tunnels and the quarry’s were a great spooky backdrop for the story. I will say the twists were pretty easy to guess, but overall an enjoyable thriller/mystery read.

As a big fan of the mystery/thriller genre, I read tons of books in this genre and can usually guess the turn that is coming. This book was a true page turner that I couldn’t put down; when I had to, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Fans who only read this genre might see some of the twists coming, but I guarantee you won’t see them all. This was a great story and a book I’d recommend to anyone. I’m definitely coming back for more from Jess Lourey!

Book Review: There aren’t many books that leave me speechless, but The Quarry Girls did just that. A thriller set in my home state of Minnesota, an hour away from my home, I definitely felt a sense of eerie closeness that I don’t get with most books. There are so many twists and turns, and the writing is incredible. I loved how the chapters were interrupted by small moments of one character (I don’t want to give anything away), and I love that there are surprises along the way. @jesslourey is a fantastic writer, and I can’t wait to read Unspeakable Things!

I'm pretty proud of myself for having figured out one of the twists. This book was so good I couldn't wait to find out what would happen and it was just one crazy thing after another. AND ALL THE HOUSES WERE CONNECTED BY TUNNELS WHAT THE HELL

Setting of this book was very interesting.  Great mystery, I couldn’t wait to get home from work to finish this book.

Overall Good book. Interesting twists and turns. Got confusing at times with who was who, though that could have been just me, as I listened to the audio version and may have been distracted at times.
