I got into this book only in the ending, I wish it could have catch me in the middle of it to not turn in a slow reading. More like 3.5

Meh. 2.5/5 It was just ok for me, nothing exciting. I didn't really care for any of the characters, not sure if I'll read the rest of the trilogy.

I just couldn't finish this.. I liked nothing about it to be honest. The writing, the characters, the whole concept of this book.

Once you get over the way he writes and that he doesn’t explain anything it’s a okay book. I’m undecided on weather or not I’m going to finish the series. But I’m leaning more towards no. It didn’t catch me at all. I feel like the author just wanted to make more money off writing books so made 2 more. It was better then the darkest minds but not by very much.

3.5/5 stars. I would not recommend this book if you are sensitive to violence and gore. Other than that and the fact that it seemed overly similar to Gone and the characters seemed to be too cold hearted in my opinion, it was a good book! Writing style was very nice.

Okay so give me the next book, like right NOW! This was one major whirlwind of action and deception and like serious what-the-fuck-ness. I just made up my own word for this book. It had me confused with the dual perspective but definitely addictive and Cassie is tough and guarded but for good reason.
I loved the rollercoaster this book took me on and would highly recommend it, even if you aren't a sci-fi fan!
