Could not put it down. I read it all almost in one sitting. Found the plot a little bit predictable hence the 4 star rating, but it still kept me on the edge of my seat.

I didn’t like this book. It left an unpleasant taste in my mouth. It’s gripping, for sure but just nasty. The characters, the way the story unfolds, the sex, the twist, the uncertainty. Not my cup of tea at all.

Definitely not like other works by Colleen Hoover. The plot was compelling and intense. Right from when Lowen Ashleigh, the protagonist, steps into the Crawford household, there is a feeling of mystery and confusion all around. The suspense builds heavily, until the end when I was left wondering 'what did I just read' (seriously, it left a weird feeling behind). Five stars to the idea behind this book.
I still gave this book 3 stars, and here's why. I am not a fan of this cliche style writing Hoover uses, which reminds me so much of Wattpad! So many common tropes, and I found all the characters in this book (except Verity, of course) unmemorable. Jeremy had NO PERSONALITY and was so shallow. Lowen too; what a boring protagonist!

Let me just say if I could give it more stars I would. This book was so psychologically good. It really messes with you. It messed with my soul and the plot twist my god you think you predicted the ending and it throws you for a turn. This is your sign to read this book!!!

I read this book front to back in under 24 hrs. It’s not very long but what the hell just happened? I’m so confused by this book it threw my emotions in every direction and i’m still reeling from it.
