After 4 whole rereads of this book I can finally give a proper review. This book, although many do abhor the writer and any literature that she may create, was incredible and if I have one word it would be completely mindfuck. Like you could say “mindboggling” “plot twist” but that GENUINELY would not do this story any justice.
We have 300 words of Verity claiming to have done the MOST tragic and evil thing a woman could do; the manuscript. Then we have 6 pages of Verity explaining that she was merely channeling her antagonist character in order to create a better stories for her dearest readers; the letter.
Manuscript or letter…PERSONALLY and although that option may change as it tends to with each re-read, I think the letter is the real deal. From the way she ACC flinched from Jeremy, she pretended to be sick to avoid murder…yeah.
Also, with the new special chapter, I have it a read after the third reread and regret it. jeremy is a bloody killer. Not once but TWICE?! and I say this every time but people who cheat will reap what they sow. In my own mind, I do belive that lowen attempts to escape and Jeremy, Greif Stricken Jeremy, lost 2 of his own daughters, REFUSES to lost his 3rd one and kills her.
Genuinely a amazing read and will definitely reread again😭
