The first page was graphically gorey; that should have been my first clue that this was not the book for me. I had an icky feeling the whole time I read it, so I looked into the trigger warnings and some spoilers. I’m not in the right mind space for this type of messed up thriller.

I finished this book on the bus ride on the way back from a field trip. I guessed some of the ending, but got shocked at the double twist. Definitely a great read.

50% Sex
20% Verity doing creepy shit
10% Crew being Satan's spawn
10% Lowen simping over Jeremy 
10% Actual plot

And I'm not gonna choose between 'Team Manuscript' or 'Team Letter' because honestly, I couldn't care less. 
Verity is a decent thriller but overhyped.
