I enjoyed it well enough and will read the next one. There's not a lot of plot for the first 2/3, it's mostly character stuff. And there's a lot of a mysterious character refusing to be anything but mysterious, which gets a bit old. But it's a good mix of dark and light.

I loved the this book. LJ always delivers. It has everything you could ever want magic, deadly secrets, and a slow burn romance anyone would love. This book had me hooked from page one. LJ Andrews delivers a beautifully brutal world with characters that break your heart and steal your breath. My only complaint is that it dragged a bit in the middle, but the ending made it all worth it. I highly recommend this book!
