Honestly, what did I just read? I went into this book completely blind and was not expecting anything that happened. I don’t even think I can explain what i read. Very interesting premise and worth a read.

Giving this three stars because although some of this was good, a lot of this was REALLY bad. I guess I can see why tiktok is obsessed with it - it is a very similar bad to Fifty Shades of Grey.

The plot is somewhat interesting but the characters are… blah. I read this because the FMC is named Cecelia but oh my GOD was she insufferably immature and annoying. I was so frustrated with her by the end of the book I wanted to throw my Kindle across the room. I hate when they make FMCs in these kinds of books 18-19 years old. She has barely anything to offer other than a bad personality and a fat ass.

The story left on a cliffhanger so I will be reading the next book but don’t let tiktok fool you into thinking this is a 5 star series because it is anything but that.

Genuinely the worst book I have read to date. The MFL is annoying and the MML are just the worst guys you have ever met. The romance buildup is non existent and the ending is just confusing.
Especially the parts, where the MFL gets angry because of some random song playing in the background, are devoid of any logic or reason. Just because someone is singing along to a song about a summer fling, doesn't mean that he just sees you as a summer fling. Seems like common sense to me. It is also still unclear to me, why the big break up happend.
So at the end, all you're left with is this empty feeling of regret, because you will never get those hours back.

My friend forced me to start this series and I am so mad at her!! I love it so much! I love the main characters so much and learning about them and their lives - the secrets and lies, the love and lust, just all of it. I highly recommend this book – this whole series.
