A wonderful ending to an amazing series. Although there were parts where I felt things were a bit rushed and confusing, this was still an epic conclusion. I will miss Elias, Laia, and Helene greatly. However, I am quite satisfied with how things turned out. Thank you Sabaa Tahir for writing such a heart-breaking yet hopeful book series. Can’t wait to see what comes next!

This series made me fall in love with all the characters (I didn’t always like them, but I grew to love them) and then made me cry :’( Loved every single page of it though!
This was such a compelling series that had me in tears at multiple times. While I thought the plot of this was more convoluted than it needed to be, and that some of the action was confusing, this was an epic conclusion to a fantastic series. Highly recommend!

One of the most satisfying endings to a series I have read in a long time. A story about love, redemption, found family, how our “enemies” all have pain and origin stories that are worth understanding, and how we ourselves can always change our path forward. Absolutely beautiful.
