Don't be put off by the title, the pink cover, or even the synopsis.
This book has substance.

I went in doubtful. I thought a book of letters would be a story with hard pacing and fractured thoughts, but this story was so well done. The letters let you feel like you were right next to Sam during the whole journey--in a way I'm not sure another style could have obtained.

Beware, it's an emotional one. The real struggles of life are found between these pages. There are more downs than ups, but as Sam shows us, it is all about the power you give to each situation and moment that will determine how you move forward in the world.

Kyle was a real MVP of Sam's story. The connection they had was heartwarming, authentic, and full of the complex nature of being human.
