If I were teaching an English class at the high school or collegiate level, this book would easily be on my curriculum. For a book that so thoroughly dissects a social movement, this plot moves. I read most of the book on a plane, and found myself wanting more minutes in the air to immerse myself in Cha's narrative. Cha refuses to provide easy resolutions, yet I found myself struggling to relate and sympathize with Grace in the second half of the book. But overall, a nuanced and riveting book.
