this collection of poems is now my favourite collection of poems ever, the motifs it presents and the way love is presented is nothing short of beautiful, especially when it draws parallels to eating, describing the wholeness of love and how it can completely consume you and soon enough ruin you. I loved the disjointed nature of the poems, how we jump around from fictional motorbike riders to profoundly romantic moments, every line feels like it was written in the blood of Siken because of how personal and gritty it gets; he has fully opened himself for all to see, lay bare his feelings and that is what makes this so special.

An incredible collection of poetry. I've been familiar with Siken's poems since my days in the Supernatural fandom (as silly as that sounds) but I've never read a full collection of his. I am fascinated by the imagery he invokes and the exploration of multifaceted relationships, especially in "You are Jeff"
