Bought this for my cousins daughter - she's not even 3 yet but had memorized rumpy and trunky better than me! Slightly alarming story - as expected from Dahl - i bought her parents Kiss Kiss - he's a mastermind.

Strong character development: No

This is probably the shortest Roald Dahl book I've read. It's about a huge crocodile that decides instead of fish, he's in the mood to eat some tasty children. As he makes his way to find these children, he tells all of the animals about his clever tricks and plans, much to the animals' dismay. The humor and storytelling of this one were classic Dahl, and the ending was as funny as I expected it to be.

This was a good children's book that focuses on the bullying crocodile who sets out one day to find children to eat. Of course with any Roald Dahl book the wicked get their comeuppance.

I am so glad that I decided to revist Roald Dahl's books as an adult as they are still very entertaining reads.
