I didn't particularly love the characterizations of ADHD and anxiety in the story. There was a lot of focus on feeling flawed because of the disorders. Which is understandable but also frustrating.

There's also a main plot point that is used to characterize Theo as "dangerous" for Paige and it was so annoying because it so obviously wasn't intentional at all. So I found it difficult to buy into the drama around them feeling like they shouldn't be together.

I also found the plot a little bit lackluster, and the wrap-up was really fast.

Still, I did like Theo and Paige, and it's nice to see somewhat realistic representations of mental illness in young adult fiction.

It was a quick, easy read. The end was sloppy and the female lead was annoying.

Maybe it’s because I didn’t know this was a YA book but man I didn’t like it at all and it really made no sense. So sorry

This book starts off with a major conflict and drops you right into an action packed plot. Something has just gone down on a bridge that threatens to rip Theo and Paige apart.
Theo struggles with ADHD, ODD and with telling the girl he loves how he feels. Paige’s anxiety keeps her feelings buried deep below the surface. But the two have become friends bonding over each of their scars and baggage until the event on the bridge ends their friendship.
I really liked the metaphor throughout the book where the bridge represented the negative energy between the two main characters and how both were naturally drawn to a place that continued to haunt each of them.
