Thoroughly dry and from a very bureaucratic lens, although I am glad a book exists in reflection/critique of the CHCH rebuild. A few good essays made this book feel somewhat worth reading cover-to-cover, and those were the essays from authors: Stuart Candy, Stephen Judd and Matt Galloway. I would recommend reading these pieces!

The whole time, it felt like most essays though could have gone into more depth or critique, especially considering the knowledge these writers (probably?) have in their fields. Yet often the writing read as frustratingly shortsighted or like a report. Kinda sucked to read a whole book of collected essays about an interesting topic and only enjoy three, as reflected in the review...
