Neither the highs of his greatest work nor the foundational origins of Call for the Dead but some nice deductions for sure. Le Carre is enjoyable even when he does Smiley as Poirot

Listened to the BBC Radio version. First other George Smiley book I've read and it was pretty good. I do also enjoy BBC productions. Will probably get around to the others eventually.

The flow was good and reading the books in order of the series, definitely helps explore the style and the overall interconnections with different characters. A short read and an enjoyable one.
