Hmmm I really loved getting to see all of the Mancinis and their cousins the Biancos in this one, but I have to admit that it’s my least favourite of the series. Dom and Val’s chemistry was phenomenal, but I felt like their story was very rushed and I spent quite a bit of the story feeling fairly lost about what had happened in their past. I love Piper and Rayne’s writing style and adore their characters, but unfortunately this one just didn’t click with me as much as the others. Sorry Dom, but Enzo is still my fave of the Mancini brothers.

Full review to come.

You know the romance where someone wakes up hungover after a night in Vegas with a body next to them and a shiny ring on their left hand? Piper Rayne took that and bumped it up a notch with Wild Steamy Hookup.
This happens to Dom and Val. Only with them, they have a VERY lengthy past that has always led to heartache.
Once their mothers find out, they beg them to actually try to make this marriage work. In order to appease their mothers, Dom and Val give it six weeks of pretending. Can they last that long before they hookup or hurt each other again?
This story was full of push and pull between these two. They are both stubborn and both are guarding their hearts from each other.
When the story took another turn towards the end, I was disappointed at first. I thought it was going to unnecessarily drag the story out. BUT the revelations from the past and the emotions that poured out from both of them made this my favorite part.
This was a great story where true love really does win out with a dose of nosy family members that don't mind interfering.

Dom's story was pretty much what I thought it would be! There were times where I wanted to shake the crap out of him and Val. I mean dear lord. But that is what I love about Piper Rayne books, they elicit so much emotion in me. I want to strangle the main characters while still rooting for them at the same time. It's damn genius. This slow burn was perfection, there is just something about two characters that have a ton of history, yet can't get it together! As per usual with Piper Rayne books, I would definitely recommend this romance read!!

Dom is definitely my favorite Mancini brother! I loved him so much! Unfortunately, while still being amazing, this book was my least favorite of the series.

Dom is a workaholic who has always had a goal for himself and his future. Val was always a part of that future for him until she wasn't. Val always wanted to be a part of Dom's future but wanted to be the most important thing to him. When they come back together for a night in Vegas, what will happen?

I loved the chemistry between Dom and Val. It was so sweet! I loved that they had this long history together that was so deep. I loved that Dom had goals that he wanted to reach. I loved that he was also so sure that they were perfect together and that there was no one else for him. Val was such a strong woman and was amazing. I loved all of their families and that family was so important to both of them. I was bugged by the lack of communication between Dom and Val, but that was really the only thing that I had a problem with. This was such an amazing story and I can't wait to read more from Piper Rayne!
