I LOVED THIS! Morrigan is one of my favourite characters from the first book, so I loved getting some more backstory about her! It was written perfectly, you can see how much R. J. has developed since book 1, in such a short space of time! I was so hooked I read it in one sitting because I was curious as to what would happen next. I also loved getting to meet her parents fully and oh I just love this! I'm so happy this exists!

Morrigan is the daughter of Lana and Foy. The people of Scorr Tantaare fleeing to Port Harmony after a new ruler comes into power. Now, 11 years later, her parents are taken from her. Morrigan meets a new friend named Haylee and together, they search for her parents.

I was bored through out the story. I didn't connect to any of the characters and I didn't care much about what happened to any of them.
