I skimmed through the short stories because they did not pull me in like they usually do. This was an off issue for me. Exceptions include: A Crown of Leaves by Kristi DeMeester and Glass Eyes in Porcelain Faces by Jack Westlake

There is some excellent stories in this issue.
Black Static is publishing some of the best of the best in Horror fiction.
I highly recommend subscribing to this magazine.
