I've written about Seaside Stranger before and just finished the second volume. Unfortunately my feelings about this didn't change with the series continuing and I think I'll be ending the story here.
The art continues to be gorgeous, and the scenery transitions from island to snowy Hokkaido make you feel like you've come along for the ride, it seems like there is more depth in the art than the storyline.
The relationship between the two characters doesn't have much growth. It's never really explained. why they like each other beyond being the only two gay men on the island. I thought they would explore their dynamic more in the second volume but half the time it doesn't even seem like Shun likes Mio.
Also general TW for this series --I'm convinced neither of them know what the concept of consent is...

La recensione non contiene spoiler ma riguarda non soltanto questo primo volume ma tutti i volumi che ho recuperato fino ad ora, cioè i primi 4.
(Il voto che ho inserito è relativo a questo primo volume, la serie nel complesso non si merita a mio parere più di 3 stelline)
Harukaze inizia esattamente dove Umibe finisce, con il viaggio dei protagonisti. Non specifico dove sono diretti per non fare spoiler ma anche questa premessa mi aveva incuriosita molto. Il primo volume di Harukaze mi è piaciuto, forse anche più di Umibe, l’unica cosa che mi ha lasciata un po’ stranita è il finale ma direi che ci può stare
I volumi 2 e 3 invece per me sono andati via via peggiorando. Mi è piaciuta la prima parte del volume 2 e penso che in questo volume siano stati introdotti argomenti interessanti come quello del lavoro e del sesso, però poi non mi è piaciuto come sono stati trattati.
Nel terzo volume mi è piaciuto come è stato affrontato il passato di Fumi ma il comportamento di Shun in questo volume l’ho trovato insopportabile, a parte qualche rara eccezione.
Il terzo volume poi finisce in modo abbastanza particolare, non me lo aspettavo, quindi sono andata avanti online per vedere cosa sarebbe successo. Devo dire che,se possibile, quello che succederà nel quarto volume mi ha convinta ancora meno quindi credo che continuerò a seguire la saga soltanto in scan. Se mai dovessi cambiare idea sulla piega che ha preso la storia magari andrò avanti ma per il momento direi che mi fermo qui.

In definitiva secondo me questa storia sul lungo andare é andata a perdersi e affronta argomenti interessanti ma non in modo convincente. Unica cosa che ho apprezzato per tutta la lettura sono i disegni.

Hmm I definitely think Mio's approach to their relationship is slightly questionable at times, and I wish Shun gets more space and time to figure out his life and mental health. However, I still love their story, and I am really excited to hopefully see more growth.
