It had been years since I read a Marian Keys, and I did remember enjoying them. But once I started this book, I also remember how much her female protagonists frustrate me. They act so incredibly irrationally, selfishly, and avoidant most of the time. And I also remembered that Keys’ way of writing frustrates me. It is heavily hinted at there being a reason for the characters acting the way they do, but it takes an annoyingly long time before that reason is revealed. And I just did not have the patience for that much frustration.

Idea and story were cute, but this was waaaayyyyyyy too long.
