Lover Eternal, the second book of the BDB series is one of my favorite all time books. One of the main reasons I liked it was because it's one of the original books in the series, with the fresh/new feeling of an author with a passionate story to tell.

Rhage is a beast of a man, that was cursed by the Scribe Virgin. No curse is ever easy and Rhage has had to deal with transforming into a big purple and green dragon every time he gets upset. And the beast can only be tamed by the woman that can love them both. Mary is a woman of great strength and the only one truly worthy of this warrior's love.

Not only was Lover Eternal an amazing sequel to Dark Lover, it also had me sitting on the edge of my seat for days! All of the brothers deserve their own Happily Ever After, and seeing Rhage find his was just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!! Which was amplified by the fact that not only did Rhage find his Shellan but so did the beast.

So If you are someone who loves a story with such an amazing paranormal world that you are transported to another plane of existence than the Black Dagger Brotherhood series is for you. Though I fully recommend that you start with the first book, Dark Lover. I truly hope you enjoy Lover Eternal as much as I did!

Rhage the most beautiful vampire. Mary the human is able to tame the beast inside of him. Good followup to the first book Dark Lover.

My guy literally turns into a dragon/demon/monster and is somehow still a snooze fest.

The most interesting part of this book was the set-up for Zsadist's storyline.
