i know i said this has the potential to be something i really like or really, really don't, but ultimately i just felt sorta... whatever? i loved the time period and like, the premise seemed really interesting, but it just didn't grip my attention like i thought it would? i was a little checked out by the end, but i did think the beginning was strong. the quality of the writing was good but overall it just didn't do it for me. oh well!

This setting was so fun! Plague, Middle Ages, Florence, Weird Catholic Stuff, and Magic! And that’s coming from someone with 12 years of Catholic school under their belt lol
