This was a great book! Wilder and Scottie were really funny together and I enjoyed the idea that Wilder said yes just for a little fun and chaos in his life. I also liked how he called her Pips because it reminded me of a certain guy in an otomoe game who always refers to the LI as Pips/Pipsqueak. I did find some bits of it pretty cringey, especially in the beginning when Scottie lied about being married but overall I thought the book was hilarious.
i really liked it! a lot of their actual fighting felt repetitive and there were a couple of moments where i thought “wait haven’t i read this already?” but i enjoyed Wilder’s devotion to her and i had to remind myself that men aren’t actually like that in real life!

I was gonna DNF the book like twice and was stuck on a 3 star rating until about chapter 23ish. I didn't/don't like Scottie but the banter and th the smex scenes saved it! Now moving on to Wilder, 10/10, solid green flag, absolutely no notes here! Cliche ending but still cute.

Really fun and spicy. I loved the vulnerability of the two characters but sometimes I cringed too hard for me to give it more than a 4 star.
Her ex husband was brought up WAYYY too much, especially at the end. Also the dynamic of her work office going to a marriage camp/sex camp… a weird HR nightmare.
