This book exceeded my expectations. It was so funny but was also a lot deeper than I expected with the topics that were dissected.

Oh this book was FUN! I couldn’t put it down and I was giggling like every other page! The verbal chemistry between Wilder and Scottie was so good, the cast of other side characters, the scenery, all of it came together to not only make me laugh out loud but to blush and swoon. This was such a silly goofy good time and I’m so happy I picked it up and devoured it!

I loved the beginning of this book, 5/5. Then as the book went on I became less and less interested. The amount of finger licking was a no from me. I found some of the plot unrealistic and I didn't really care about any of the characters. Finished it just to say I read it.

This was a 5 star, fun, light hearted read...
Until the 60%ish mark
The jokes, the quippy comments the banter, the "is it going to happen?" all fizzled out when chapter after chapter of spice took over, the character development became rushed, and the witty dialogue that had me actually laughing out loud absolutely died.
I only gave this a third star because of how I devoured the first 55%, laughed hard a few times during that, and like the premise of the story.
Had to force a finish.

This was book was fun and entertaining, it didn’t take itself too seriously. I have read a lot of Meghan Quinn books and I do enjoy the escapism that they bring. Overall, this was a good palette cleanser book if you need a lighter read after an emotionally heavy book.
Meghan Quinn is a funny writer and injects a lot of comedy into her books however I do think at times it can be too much. One negative for me is that I find myself sometimes cringing at points in her writing whether it be from awkward dialogue or just unfunny moments that were meant to be funny.
Also, at about 75% I started to become bored with the book, i don’t know if the book could have been a bit shorter or something else but the last 25% did not hit as well as the first 3/4th of the book.
