I read Animal Farm two years ago, but from what I remember I really liked it.
I felt 1984 to be slower and a bit more difficult (specially considering English to be my second language) but the third part was amazing, I definitely enjoyed the last pages the most, it became more fast-paced, and I couldn't put the book down.

Fact became fiction, and once again, fiction is becoming fact. These two books are a blueprint for 2017. Amazing reads.

Everyone needs to read these. It is eerie how well George Orwell knew the human mind and could create worlds that echo real life scenarios before they even happen.

Even if you had to read this in High School, I recommend you read it again as an adult. We all know that majority of you just looked it up on Spark Notes. Read it.

Even though this book has been written a long time ago, the subject behind the story is still up to date. I remember reading this book in college and trying to figure out how it was in the 50ies when Orwell wrote that book. I guess that nowaday Russia is no longer the only country that could be thought of when trying to identify the factions in the story.

Not necessarily a book I think reviewing provides any benefit to.
