Simple, sweet, and hilarious!

I loved listening to this book and if you're a pet lover I'm 100% sure you'll love this book. I laughed so much in their back and forth arguing over their pets. Just to say listen to the audiobook as it is amazing!!

funny fast-paced

This was a quick listen to entertain me during a boring work day. And it was entertaining but it was all kinds of ridiculous because the conflict between them was ridiculous.

So the premise is these neighbours, Jones and Alana, are annoying each other as their pets are always making noise. Alana's car, Furrari, is yowling early every day and Kevin, Jones's dog, barks every time Alana and her cat are in the balcony. So far so good, passive aggressive notes and all, and even their chase across Miami when their two pets escape and appear to be chasing each other was fun. But the conflict that built up at the end? It was ridiculous and really put me off the rest of the listen. I get it was a short listen so there wasn't enough time to develop the characters and chemistry between them a so might have liked so that was probably why I had issues but still. It could have been developed a little better as the conflict felt a little forced.

I think the story was really good, the only problem being the narrator, the way she read the story just fell flat and took away from the book I would say.
