Super cute quick & easy read while packing. The author didnt try to lengthen it into something it wasn't, it was a fun concise story
To be fair, I chose this story with the intention of finding a story I would likely not be interested or invested in. I got what I was looking for.
This story managed to capture so many of the romance tropes that make me cringe--doormat heroine, misplaced jealousy, invasion of privacy, and more.
Mind you, I adored the cat. Furrari was a bright point to this story. From his name to his personality and frisky, but loving nature, he was an amazing character.
But in all honesty, with the insecurity of the heroine, the romance feels contrived, rote, and stale.

I’m a fan of the short, sweet audible originals. I thought this was cute, but a tad too predictable and coincidental for me. I did enjoy the idea and the plot moved quickly. Just a bit too predictable.
