Not going to rate this one, as it was just a short story in Audible and I’m not really a short story girl, so it feels unfair. But it was cute.
The only positive thing about this book was how short it was. I also have to give props to the narrator, Thérèse Plummer. She really did what she could with this plot.
A Tail as Old As Time is a predictable, obnoxious love story about two people whose pets became best friends at an animal shelter falling in love after their pets run away together. The cat is ~of course~ named Furrari because he is both speedy and furry. I was annoyed by this book and mostly hate listened to it to stay awake on a drive late at night.

don't like the MCs' attitudes or romances that come out of such chemistry. personal preference. enemies to lovers just isn't my thing.
This was a super fast read. I think I finished it in 35 minutes? I listened to the audiobook at 2.5x speed and had no issues with understanding the narrator.

This cover is so adorbs! Sadly the short story does not hold up. It was nice, but not close to what that cover seemed to promise.
