i have never had a book bring me so much anxiety before. i don’t know why i didn’t end it sooner. reading it is like watching a very graphic train wreck, and you can’t look away, but it’s all happening so fast that you don’t want to miss anything and then all of a sudden it’s like oh my god, why am i still standing here
