I hadn’t heard about this book before I picked it up so I didn’t have any expectations but OH MY GOD ITS INCREDIBLE. Plot Twist is a dual 3rd person pov Contemporary Romance with the perfect amount of spice.

I think what I loved most about this book was how it dealt with heavier topics while still feeling overall like a light read. There was one scene where I teared up but I felt like the emotions were perfectly balanced for a romance.

I loved both the characters and Sophie trying to figure out why her past relationships didn’t work was entirely too relatable for me.

There are just some absolutely wonderful quotes about love in this novel that I can’t share due to spoilers but I can’t wait for others to read them.

Lastly, Tiktok is mentioned a lot in this novel and usually I find it really cringey for books to do this, but it was actually one of my favorite parts becuase I’m a sucker for books with mixed media, and there’s a lot of little Easter eggs in these sections as well!

This is an incredible romance for anyone who loves to see popular tropes (friends-to-lovers, Hollywood royalty, one bed, and many more) and loves a bit more plot in their romances.

Thank you to Canary Street Press and Erin La Rosa for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

*I do feel the need to add, I have no experience with alcoholism, and therefore have no basis for how well it was handled in this novel. I believe there were sensitivity readers, but there is a really good 1 star review bringing up the issues they saw with Dash’s recovery. So overall, I do not recommend this as a guide to recovery at all, please look to other reviews for more info*
