Truly bizarre.  It's presented as though the main character is a reliable narrator who is explaining his stream of consciousness which is a descent into madness as if it were a perfectly logical series of events.

What's the point of this book , huh? Telling an existentialism in literature using a misogynistic, abusive, manipulative creep that obsessed over a woman he barely knows? Do you expect me to sympathize with this weirdo mc victimized himself when in fact he's the perpetrator? You'll catch me dead first. He's not an existensialist, he's freaking stupid and mad. The only good thing about this book is that it is short. Because readers do not deserved prolonged misery reading this story. Worst book I've ever read in my life.

Good psychological novel. Would have given 4+ stars if they explained the reason for her silence on most of the questions asked.

I think that The Tunnel was one of the most terrifying books I have ever read for two reasons. One, it made me question my own sanity (not in a remotely enjoyable way) and overthink every little thing for a couple of days, and two, it was less than 150 pages and still took me over two months to get through.
