I really like the message of this book - sometimes we all have bad days, and that’s okay.

Super adorable Childrens' book! My 2 year old son got this book for free via the Imagination Library and I'm so glad he did! He & I both loved this and it was fun to read and make up voices. And, being that he's 2, we can definitely relate to tantrums of epic proportions. Highly recommend to all my mommy friends!

(blogged this here)
From the moment Bella wakes up, nothing is right. Her baby brother is in her room ("GET OUT OF MY ROOM!"), her mother tries to giver her an egg for breakfast ("I CAN'T EAT THAT!"), and I won't even mention what happens in the grocery store (except to say that the snide looks from the other customers in the store is classic)!

I bought this book for my daughter's 3rd birthday and she (and the other birthday guests) wanted to read it as soon as it was unwrapped. Just the cover alone is hysterical. Everyone (especially the adults) laughed as we read about Bella's day and recognized my daughter and her cousin on every single page. So, so cute. I highly recommend this one!

Bella's day starts off wrong which causes her to be crabby and grumpy for the rest of the day. She hollers that her peas are too hot, her tooth paste is too minty, her foot hurts and her dance clothes are too itchy. She finally apologizes to her mother before she goes to bed for being so crabby and the next day she wakes up more cheerful. I love how her mother doesn't scold her for being crabby and explains that everyone has a bad day from time to time.

A book that could only have been written by the parent of a preschooler. Read it and smile ruefully at every time it's happened to you, then remind yourself not to get too worked up the next time it happens.

Everyone has a bad day once in a while, even Neo. In this story, young Bella starts her day off poorly and it continues to sour from there.
