Well that was certainly an opening for a first book of the series. Read it all in one sitting. One thing I have to say is it's so unbelievably refreshing for a character to be told everything honestly up front. Inside of brooding dark secrets, here it is in all its glory and I loved it. Book ended in a cliffhanger which was evil, but still enjoyed
