This BOOK. UGHHHH. So good! I've been a fan of the show for years, and I knew it was a 5 star read early on. I adore this series!

Made it through half. Thought I’d try and make it through the whole thing but then the protagonists lover beat the living shit out of her and she calls it a “most unpleasant evening.” There’s a lot of SA in here as well which is also just gross and not well written or portrayed. Has components of “secretly wanting it” bc abuser looks like husband. Gross. The writing is poor, redundant, and annoying. I don’t think I’ve liked a book less in a long time. I even think this is my first one star review lol.
