Wow, the plot was terrible. It's almost like two different stories. I signed up for the one about a strong and brave woman facing danger to save 4 other women. I ended up with the opposite story. I don't want to spoil the story but what a disappointment this turned out to be.
Someone else has probably said this before, but this book is like Little House in the Prairie, but a dark version with Ma going nuts during the winter. I thought it was bad when I believed the dog drowned crossing a river in Little House. I mean, I put the book down for months and refused to continue reading. This is way worse. But I loved it anyway.
