Another enjoyable Tempe novel. I have no interest in NASCAR but she writes so well it didn't matter. I did miss not having Ryan in this book.
I have to admit, I enjoy reading about Brennan and her antics. I know that some readers get annoyed by her personality, but it just makes me laugh. She’s pretty bossy in this one, and despite not knowing and/or caring about NASCAR, I enjoyed the storyline.
This is my first book I have read by Kathy Reichs and have too say I thoroughly enjoyed it, Dr Brennan is a fantastic character, am looking forward too reading more now.

It felt like Kathy Reichs just kind of phoned this one in. And I hated the breathless-sounding overly dramatic, cliffhanger-esque endings to the chapters.
