What a beauty! This is my first book by K. Ryan and I am very impressed indeed. So many issues tackled with sensitivity and astuteness. Care over timings as well.

I met my other half quite by chance and the whole story resonated so deeply. Take tht shot when you get it. Every bit of this book is worth a read. A solid 5 stars from me.

This book totally lacked any sort believability. The first problem was why on earth would the h stay with a boyfriend (they’re not even married!), that from the get go was a major jerk and on top of it she didn’t even like him, much less love him? Second, why would the H, who is a rich, handsome celebrity purposefully pursue and pin all his hopes on the h, who is already taken?

This took me by surprise and it had very heavy themes so please do research before reading if you are easily triggered. 

I went into this completely blind not knowing much other than it was a basketball sports romance and I think this made my experience that extra bit more enjoyable not knowing anything. 


This hurt this was hard to read I cried so many times while listening to this 

What Iris went through she had so much strength and resilience to overcome it all 

The way Kennedy Ryan wrote this so beautifully made it feel so real. 

August West is my new favourite book boyfriend he was so gentle with Iris and such a golden retriever.

Kennedy Ryan is very talented. She has a way with words.This story had some difficult chapters to but was worth it in the end. I couldn’t put it down.

I liked this book for what it was however I will not be finishing the series. Unfortunately I thought a lot of it was problematic and that was mainly the way it was written  and the pace.
