I loved this read!! So good and so REAL. I have recommended it to everyone so far!!
It does come with a few trigger warnings such as suicidal ideations, family death, miscarriage and divorce but it was really so good. Very real and open about how people struggling with anxiety, depression and other mental health issues get by day to day and how a little bit of extra help can make all the difference. I wanted more out of the ending than we are given, wanted more of a clean closure but that’s not what you get. Overall, 5/5 star read!!

Interesting premise, problematic execution. Not for me!

After love, forgiveness is the strongest glue holding every family together.

Gorgeously written. My favorite book of the year so far!

I very nearly gave up on this one. While I liked the overall plot of the story, the main character annoyed me from page 1, and didn't let up. She was irritating, oftentimes unethical, and completely unqualified to be dispensing life advice to others. The characterization was so poor that it seemed as if someone wasn't sure what a woman was, so just looked it up on Instagram in the fall and was like, "yep, women like pumpkin spice and beauty products, let's go with that." It was like watching a Lifetime movie where a stereotype of a woman makes poor life decisions for 2 hours. Several times throughout the book, the author dropped 5 dollar words for absolutely no reason. You showing off your vocabulary does not make this book better, lady. I also don't appreciate being tricked into a Jesus book where religion is stuffed down my throat. Onward to the Goodwill pile with you, book.

Wow I hated it. I resent the time I spent on it.
It crosses so many boundaries but it’s not trying to be edgy. Instead it just romanticizes the situation, the depression, the huge transgressions of boundaries. I did not enjoy the writing—it was overly long, overly wordy. It read like… fan fiction of real life.

Loved the vibe the author created through the whole book. Reminded me of one night inpatient.

This wasn't my normal pace, but I really enjoyed it.
