Plays are meant to be performed, not read. I hope this is one of those cases in which watching/performing it is great because reading it was boring and gave me no interest in researching the show further.

2023: changed my mind! (love the structure and the different characters and I think it would be sooo interesting to watch)

This one has left me pondering a lot about gender. Symbolism is woven throughout the story. Some of the symbolism was straightforward to me, but others have me thinking, which I believe is great! At first glance, story details were difficult for me to grasp, and still are. The story was rather abstract, but based in realism, which suits my personal taste greatly. This book has me reflecting and seeking answers well after reading, which I appreciate in this context. I want to reread this book when I become a more experienced reader, because I believe there is potential for me to gain a greater appreciation for this story once I am more knowledgeable myself.

SKylar gave this play recommendation to me. I really wanna be in this play.
Fefu is in all of us, I think, even if we try to avoid that part of ourselves.

the dialogue is so snappy and epic at times. I think there are too many monologues. some of them are good, others are preachy. I do think Fornes is brilliant and best of the best.
