I was really interested in this series but I struggled with this past volume. I think the bouncing back and forth between time was difficult for me to follow and then it seemed as if the issue suddenly resolved itself and then it just slipped 10-15 years ahead. The first two volumes really explored the way emotions like hate and grief can effect us and then the conclusion felt very rushed in comparison.

This 3rd volume didn't really work for me. The time jumps didn't flow to create a narrative I could follow. I can see where the creators were going, it's in us to better the world we live in, but they didn't quite get there.

This comic series is spectacular! Volume 3 moves at a slightly slower pace because the characters have a lot to say but it's still suspenseful and action-packed. It has reignited my love affair with comics and I look forward to any and all future installments in the world of Bitter Root. And the movie as well!
