I’ve noticed that the change in this books usually come at the end rather quickly so it looks like I’m reading a different book sometimes. Anyways going into book four!
Darn it! I thought this was the last book. I'm not sure what else is left to make a whole 4th book out of. I'm thinking Day should have just powered through and made this a big book. Hopefully the 4th book will be worth it and not a flimsy attempt at keeping the series going; it tends to happen that way with some series.
So i was expecting a bit more from this 3rd book. i guess i assumed it could a happy ever after feeling. Was really dissapointed that i might have to wait another year before i get to read the next book in the Eva/gideon series and find out more about how they end up.
That is the only reason it got 4 stars.

Not sure how to review this book at all. So it's not a trilogy but no one knows how many book there will be for Crossfire? I get maybe when you set out writing you intend to have x amount of books in the series but suddenly it isn't enough.
So maybe the ending isn't a cliffy but come on so many sub plots happening my head won't stop spinning. Characters are supposed to evolve from one book to another right? But these characters seem to take a few steps back, fall into a deep whole and crawl out from the other side of the planet. I personally think the Crossfire series should be renamed the WTF...who can we throw into the Crossfire pit today. Yes wordy, but did I make my point.
I really do/did like Eva and Gideon and I hope for the best for them. Their journey is understandable from their messed up pasts. Will I read the next book, yes because I am warped. But I won't be 1st in line for sure...I will actually wait till the library gets it, not wasting my $'s.
What I really want is Cary's whole story but in ONE book not a 16 volume set. What about Megumi, is she okay. That was pretty crappy to leave that the way the book did.
