"Revisit and revise."

Eva says this all the time!!!!! No idea why it annoyed me so much....

Still i do love the book and its complicated characters.....

Eva i love and hate her.... Im really not sure of her reactions sometimes.

Gideon is too cheesy sometimes... but i do love me some chedder... Just maybe not so much.

Still a magnetic relationship that's obsessive and passionate

Seriously, this book is the best among the rest!

By book three, I’ve hit that “when the hell will they learn?” stage with Gideon and Eva. Like, please, for the love of your sanity (and mine), go to therapy that isn’t in the form of a punishing orgasm.

The sex? Off-the-charts filthy. I mean hardcore. And yes, I am absolutely keeping notes because I can’t believe a 24-year-old fictional woman has a hotter, more chaotic sex life than I probably ever will. I’m equal parts aroused and bitter.

But real talk? Sex still doesn’t fix your trauma. And deciding to recreate past trauma as some form of twisted therapy? What in the toxic, emotionally unhinged hell was that?! I had to pause, blink, and make sure I actually read that right.

And that ending? Oh no. Absolutely not. It made me want to scream and pull my hair out strand by strand. This ride is WILD, frustrating, deliciously filthy, and emotionally exhausting… and yeah, I’m still continuing the series. Send help.

The third book in tbe crossfire series hit differently than the others. The romance is blossoming absolutely but I wish there was more delving into tbe events than there is. Also the guy has some serious history with women and its really fun keeping up with who the heck is who hahah

Entwined with You picks up right after the abrupt ending of [b:Reflected in You|13596809|Reflected in You (Crossfire, #2)|Sylvia Day|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1362527039s/13596809.jpg|19186128]. Eva is trying to come to grips with what Gideon has done and the ramifications that it will have. And saying much more would just be a bunch of spoilers... This series. Why can't I quit you?

It's like a train wreck that I just can't look away from and it has characters that just keep bringing me back. The writing still isn't horrible. Although someone really needs to speak with Sylvia Day about her endings. They are always just lopped off with no resolution. I wouldn't even call them cliffhangers. They don't end with a bang. They simply end in very strange places. Also the use of Eva's safe word as Gideon's way of saying "I love you" was just not working for me.

I had a lot of issues with this book. A lot of it just seemed like made up drama. Yes, I realize calling a fiction book MUD is a bit idiotic because it is literally made up, but I just couldn't believe a lot of it. Spoiler filled rant:
Spoiler

Oh, we have to stay away from each other so that the police don't suspect anything, but let me move in next door to you and will spend every free second we have together. Obviously no one will notice.

Brett. This "love" triangle that the author is creating is just not working for me. Eva being insistent that she wants to remain on friendly terms makes zero sense to me. She flies off the handle anytime one of Gideon's exes is mentioned, but it's ok for her to be buddy buddy with hers? But what gets me even more is Brett outed her as the girl from Golden and Eva had zero reaction. She gives everyone a piece of her mind and with Brett nothing? Really? Does she really have that much of a blind spot for him? It just seems OOC.

Getting married? Really? Because you feel insecure and need the reassurance of paperwork? No, no, no. And what happened to we have to take things slow so that the police don't get suspicious?

I'm not sure why this story has been changed from a trilogy into five books. This one definitely seemed rather watered down. It took up until the very end for things to start getting interesting plot wise and then it was over. And despite all my issues with this book, I still enjoyed it. The writing still isn't horrible. The side characters actually have depth (why so little Ireland?!). I will sadly be here waiting for the next book because that ending... It just stopped. I need answers.

If your life could use a little more drama or you just need a completely mindless read, this series is worth checking out. I'm still not sure the romance is my thing. It's a little too over the top at times. But here I am, waiting for the next installment.
