Oooh...okay I've really never read anything in this genre before. Nothing remotely close. I've been wanting to read this for awhile now but I've been avoiding it because it's basically every genre I typically don't read: horror, fantasy, historical fiction, etc. And yet! I was very pleasantly surprised. Ring Shout is creative, intelligent, and detailed. This might have opened me up to a new genre or two. Huh.

Honestly not that memorable for such a Big concept. Giant ravenous monsters evolved from white supremacists? Cool as hell. But the characters and plot-drive didn't hit for me.

This book has a slow middle but once things come together in the end this book is excellent. I found it an interesting time to read this book.
