Another one bites the dust....

You know you're asking for trouble when you make a pact with your best friends to avoid women. Seriously, how long did you think that would last? When friend #1 went down after one day...it was inevitable that another would fall soon after.

Here we are five months later and the eternal bachelor is chasing the eternal bachelorette. One wedding, tons of photos, and wild chemistry make it impossible to stay in the one night only zone.

But when work, commitments, and reality crash down on this intimate party of two...it becomes something else.

Until You...walked into a garage
Until you...threw a shoe
Until You...stole hearts

Lanie’s work keeps her from settling down. She’s in town for a few months and moves on to her next project. She loves her job but is starting to notice that the lack of friendships in her life is lonely. She’s determined to make this work trip a better balance as she is close to a cousin who is getting married. It’s at one of the myriad of wedding related activities that she meets Tyler, a commitment-phobe that is doing his best to remain single. Except one kiss sparks these two loners to reevaluate what they want out of life. Can Lanie finally learn to settle down and accept that Tyler is opening his arms to her? A sweet story and I liked the humor and banter between Lanie and Tyler. What seemed unrealistic is the demands the bride had on her bridesmaids and grooms. Multiple times they had to get dressed up in their dresses a tuxes for pictures prior to the actual wedding date. Maybe I’ve been lucky but that seemed a little bridezilla to me and created conflicts that I didn’t feel were realistic. Other than that, cute story!

Until You was just an okay read for me. I really enjoyed the original series, I really liked the first book in this series, but this one? Not so much. Things started off well, I was enjoying it, but then it kind of fell apart for me.

Tyler doesn't want to ever settle down. He is trying to change his ways and not be such a ladies man. He was fine until he sees a mystery woman at a pre-wedding party. He doesn't know who she is, but she intrigues him.

Lanie is a workaholic and moves around a lot for her job. She doesn't really have many relationships. She used to be close to her cousin, but because of work not so much anymore. She thought she was happy, but this whole wedding thing (the cousin is getting married) is making her start to re-think some things. Spending time with her cousin, meeting Tyler, the mysterious guy she meets at a pre-wedding party, all of it is making her re-think her life goals. Is her job really worth being alone?

These two had super chemistry which they couldn't deny. Neither wants anything permanent so once they decide to give into their chemistry it should be perfect right? After all Lanie is leaving in a few weeks so there is an end date in sight.

Now this beginning part I really enjoyed. Them meeting, them not knowing who each other was, the fun ways they kept running into each other, the start of their relationship. Then suddenly Tyler was professing his love and Lanie was right there with him and I was like wait what? How did we get here. I don't know why but I didn't see it. At least not at the time. And then everything kind of went downhill a bit from there. Things moved quickly and they had some big obstacles in their way to happily ever after, but none of it felt like it should have really been an obstacle. *Small spoiler alert* Like Lanie said she looked for a job for a few weeks, didn't find anything so she has to move to get a job. I don't know. It was like you can't take some time and figure things out first? I...I didn't really understand. That and everything magically working out at the end did make me roll my eyes a bit. It was a bit too contrived for me. I know it should have been fun and cute, but because I wasn't enjoying it it was just meh for me. So yeah. This was an alright read, but not as good as others by this author.

Tyler has his own string of women but when things go south with one and his buddies and him to vow to remain bachelors he knows this is what he needs to do no matter how many women his best friends fiancé sends his way. Lanie has seen how well relationships work just watching her parents relationship. Work seems to be up in the air for that matter, life seems to be up in the air. Can she figure it all out or is it just her cousin's coming wedding and all the events that is making her rethink everything?
This book is somewhat predictable and although its predictable its super good. Both main characters a broken and a searching and trying to find themselves even though they find them at a impasse. I loved Eric and how much he played a huge rule in the story. I really enjoyed the story and I really enjoyed how the characters didn't seem fake but more like catching up friends. This book does have adult language/scenes in it so it may not be suitable for all readers. I really enjoyed this group of friends and can't wait to read more. They are a close bunch of misfits just trying to keep it all together.

This book was a fun read. The first meeting of Lainey and Tyler captured my attention and I couldn't put the book down until I knew how their story ended. This book had some really fun scenes that made me laugh out loud from their accidental meeting at the coffee stand to the shoe incident at the photo shoot. Throughout the book there were driving forces both to keep them apart and bring them together. Loved how the story ended and look forward to the next book.

I started this books at 10pm last night and finished it at 3am... it was so good!!!! 5 STARS!!!!

Th wedding pact and the bachelor brotherhood have to be my favourite chick lit series EVER!!! Until You did not disappoint, so beautiful written... made me laugh out load and brought tears to my eyes.

I couldn't wait to read this book and now reading the preview chapter for final bachelor brotherhood book I know it will just as good.

This story followers Tyler "the closer" and Laine the workaholic... with some special guests including Kevin & Holly, and even Megan & josh have a little shout out! This unlikely pair have off the charts chemistry and clearly fall head over heels for each other the moment they meet.

Love this book so much!!! Well done Denise ❤️
I am actually considering going back and reading all five books again as i just love them so much. Only regret is that they are on kindle so I can't share them with my friends, I will 100% be buying them all in paperback one day though!!

I've never read anything by this author and I was pleasantly surprised with this book. It was a cute, funny and a light hearted read. As much as I enjoyed the story I did have a few minor issues. The relationship between Lanie and Tyler was supposed to be fun and no commitment which I was ok with but then they developed feelings and everything happens 1,2,3 and it was kind of unbelievable. They did have chemistry and the sex was hot but I would have liked to have more time with the couple especially after the drama they went through but the ending was just so abrupt. Their friends were so busy meddling and being nosey, it became a turn off at one point. There's a difference with being concerned and they were just nosey. They are grown adults let them work it out themselves. Despite those minor issues I still enjoyed the story. The writing was good, the plot held my attention and I did enjoy the secondary characters. Without reading the first book I still felt like I was apart of the gang. I will definitely be reading the next book in the series and I picked up the first book!

Another great story from Denise Grover Swank! I love that the characters are interesting, intelligent and though there are communication problems, their issues are not childish, whiny high school-ish situations. There are plenty of laughs when you throw in some silly wedding fun and crazy accidents, too. And who wouldn't love a grand gesture?! 💜💜

Lanie and Tyler are a cute couple and I loved the unique conflict the author put them in, despite some predictability I wasn't sure how they were going to make it to their HEA until the very end
